Hair Transplant in Thailand

What is hair transplant FUT & FUE ?

Undergoing hair transplant surgery in Thailand is an effective way to restore hair loss caused by male pattern baldness or androgenetic alopecia.

Best of all, this is an outpatient procedure that, when completed, should last a lifetime.

It uses your own hair to fill in sparse, balding spots for the most natural-looking results. Your hair will grow as it normally would, exhibiting the same color and texture as the original hair on your head.

Whether you are completely bald or have thinning hair on areas of the scalp, a hair transplant can give you a fuller head of natural hair once more.

The procedure occurs in the doctor’s office, using your own hair. There are 2 ways in which the doctor will undertake the transplant, but both methods render the same results.

The first is called follicular unit strip surgery (FUSS). The doctor will remove a 6-10 inch strip of skin from the back of the head, then sew the incision shut. The existing hair on the back of the head covers the area that has been removed, so it’s not noticeable. The surgeon’s team then removes up to 2,000 tiny hair grafts to transplant where hair is thinning.

Another method is referred to follicular unit extraction (FUE). The doctor will shave the back of your head and individually remove hair follicles from the area, transplanting them where hair is thinning.
